Squalene

My first encounter with the word "squalene" was about five years ago.

A friend was diagnosed with hepatitis B. Then I heard from another old friend in Manila that she was diagnosed of Colon Cancer (Terminal Case Stage 4)and was told by her doctor that only a miracle could save her. I was told that the latter's liver is also badly affected.

Both friends were taking medicines prescribed by their respective physicians.

Hoping to be informed and understand their illnesses, I tried to make a research by reading articles in magazines and books (I could no longer remember this times). It was from reading that I came across the word "squalene".

At different instances, I told my friends about it. My friend with Hepa-B was apparently taking medicine with squalene content. While my friend with a Big C just listened to me when I told her over the phone about the thing I read on liver illness.

A few months later, I got the chance to visit my friend in Manila. She was telling me how her doctor was amazed to find out that she was still alive after 6 months and without going for check ups anymore.

Later, I learned from her husband that she started taking rlr squalene after I told her about this "squalene" thing and someone introduced the product to her.

After almost 3 years from the time she was told to be fortunate if she can still live for up to 6 months, she did finally succumbed to death. But it was a good thing she was still able to see her baby grow up a little. And it is interesting to note that except for the last few months, she was not bed-ridden during those times as she still did almost every household work.

And my friend with Hepa-B did sent me an SMS saying she has already recovered from her illness.

Maybe, their medicines and food supplements just served them well. But I am sure though that their faith to God did matter a lot too.
